Pay / Benefits £100,000 pa + benefits contract rates up to £750pd fintech exposure global clients flexible / open environment ambition-driven culture Responsibilities Prototype and experiment to validate architecture and support Use Case programme requirements Design, test, deploy and operate scalable software defined network systems Serve as technical SME for complex networking systems Tailor tools, processes and metrics to support tech and product goals Key requirements 6 years of commercial development experience in Java, Scala, or C++ Strong foundations in computer science and engineering principles Experience across multiple infrastructure and application stack layers Enterprise-level experience with leadership as an engineer/developer Versatility across languages and development methodologies; comfortable with ambiguity Banking or startup experience is a plus comfortable with ambiguity ability to work across teams strong problem-solving mindset Java Scala C++
