Grade A Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or ECT looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4. Plan, prepare and mark lessons in line with the curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and support academic achievement. Work collaboratively with the wider Science department.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant subject qualification. Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics. Experience teaching Science within a secondary school. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. What We Offer Competitive daily rates of pay. Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant. Opportunity to secure a permanent teaching position. Immediate or January 2027 start available.
