This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and supportive Science department committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who can inspire curiosity, encourage scientific thinking, and help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities Teach engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as part of the wider Science curriculum Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements Monitor and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and school events Promote a positive attitude towards Science and STEM subjects The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting Possesses strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills Has a genuine passion for Science and education Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student success ECTs are encouraged to apply What the School Offers A collaborative and supportive Science department Access to well-equipped laboratories and modern teaching resources Strong lea...
