I am recruiting for a Scientific Software Engineer to work on a mostly remote basis with 2-3 times a month in Exeter. The role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You MUST have worked within central government in the last 12 months. Expertise in Python, GIS & Linux is essential. As a Software Engineer you will work with a team of data and workflow experts to connect data at massive scale between critical forecast system components, to keep the clients world-leading forecasts operational and lay the groundwork for future improvements.

If your experience matches the above, specifically Central Government, Python, GIS & Linux please apply ASAP. ...
