Section Engineer

We''re looking for a Senior/Section Engineer - Civils to join our Calvert team based in Twyford, Buckinghamshire. The project involves the delivery of complex civil engineering works, including bridges, road realignments, earthworks, drainage systems, structures, and associated infrastructure.

Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for? As a Senior/Section Engineer - Civils, you''ll be working within the Calvert team, supporting them in delivering major infrastructure projects. You''ll play a key part in delivering a defined section of civil engineering works safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

You''ll work closely with the team to ensure technical compliance across structures, highways, drainage and earthworks packages, whilst supporting and mentoring engineering staff to achieve project objectives. Your day to day will include: Managing engineering activities for your section, ensuring construction aligns with drawings, specifications and project requirements Developing short-term programmes and coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors Leading quality compliance including inspections, testing and maintaining accurate as-built records Ensuring works are delivered safely in accordance with RAMS, delivering toolbox talks and monitoring compliance Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers and junior staff, providing technical guidance and support What are we looking for?
