Security Systems Team Leader

A public sector organisation is seeking experienced Security Systems Team Leaders to join a major international security systems delivery programme. This is a unique opportunity to lead the installation and deployment of critical security infrastructure at secure locations across the UK and overseas.

Working within highly secure government environments, you will provide technical leadership, oversee installation teams, and deliver specialist security systems projects around the globe. The Opportunity As a Security Systems Team Leader, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities, supporting the full project lifecycle from planning and preparation through to on-site installation and commissioning.

You will play a key role in delivering complex security systems projects, often in challenging overseas environments, while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest government security standards.

This is an initial 12-month contract based on site in Milton Keynes with international travel required in the role. The daily rate for the role is £445 per day inside IR35 via an Umbrella company. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidates must be a British Citizen and must either hold DV or SC clearance or be eligible to obtain the relevant clearance.

Key Responsibilities Lead installation teams delivering security systems projects in the UK and internationally. Review technical designs, drawings and project documentation. Complete material take-offs and support equipment procurement activities.

Test systems and equipment prior to deployment. Plan delivery activities and prepare equipment and installation resources. Produce Health & Safety documentation and safe systems of work. Coordinate site activities and liaise with customers, stakeholders and delivery partners.

Provide technical leadership across CCTV, Access Control, Public Address Systems and associated infrastructure. Deliver knowledge transfer, coaching and hands-on training to engineers and technical staff. Ensure installations are delivered to government security standards and requirements.

Provide technical guidance to stakeholders at all levels. Hanwha I-Pro Hirsch / Identiv ASL / Zenitel Bosch (Presideo) Qualifications Required Level 3 qualification in an Electrical or Electronic discipline SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety qualification Current ECS Card (Installation/Approved Competency Level) Strong understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work
