SEN Teaching Assistant Knightsbridge, Central London £100 to £120 per day, depending on experience ASAP start | Full-time | Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant – The School We are recruiting for a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Knightsbridge, Central London, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its specialist SEN department.

The school is committed to supporting students with additional needs, providing a nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role Supporting secondary-aged students with special educational needs across the school's SEN department. Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs. Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver personalised learning activities.

Supporting students with their academic progress, communication, social skills and emotional wellbeing. Helping manage behaviour and encouraging positive engagement in learning. Adapting learning resources to meet students' individual needs.

Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times. SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is essential.

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a school or specialist SEN setting is highly desirable. A patient, compassionate and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs. Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other SEN professionals. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the necessary checks.
