Job Description SEN TeacherLocation: Gravesend, KentStart Date: September 2026 or ASAPAcademics are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Gravesend , who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

For the right candidate, an earlier start may also be available. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established SEN setting, where a child-centred approach and strong teamwork are at the heart of everything they do. Experience supporting or leading within a SEND team would be highly desirable.

The Role

Full-time SEN Teacher positionWorking with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, communication difficulties, and complex needsTeaching small class sizes with strong TA supportPlanning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCPsWorking closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staffRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essentialPrevious SEN experience is desirableMinimum of 1 year UK teaching experienceStrong teamwork and communication skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What's on offer: Long-term role with the opportunity to go permanentCompetitive daily rate from £170 (paid to scale + SEN allowance)Access to free CPD trainingFull-time position within a supportive school environmentIf you're a passionate teacher looking to make a real difference within a SEN setting, we would love to hear from you.
