SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Birmingham Level 3 Childcare preferred | Passion for SEND essential Could your patience, empathy and commitment make a meaningful difference to a child's school day? Transform Education Recruitment UK is recruiting SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in Birmingham schools.
The role
Provide tailored support to an individual pupil. Help the pupil access learning and participate in school life. Support communication, emotional wellbeing and independence. Follow agreed support strategies under staff guidance.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO. You will need: A genuine passion for SEND. Patience, empathy and a calm, consistent approach. A willingness to learn and respond to individual needs. Ideally, a Level 3 Childcare qualification.
