A specialist SEND school in Southwark is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher, or a mainstream teacher looking to develop their specialist practice, to work within a supportive setting focused on personalised learning and pupil development.

The provision places a strong emphasis on communication, sensory development, independence and preparing pupils for meaningful participation in school and wider life. The Role SEND Teacher As a SEND Teacher,
you will
Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and PMLD . Develop personalised learning programmes based on individual needs and EHCP outcomes. Use sensory, communication and practical approaches to engage pupils in learning.
Support pupils' communication, independence and personal development. Work closely with Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary professionals. Monitor progress and contribute to assessment and review processes. Create a safe, structured and stimulating learning environment.
What We're Looking For QTS is essential. Experience within SEND, SLD, PMLD or complex needs is desirable. Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning. Patient, nurturing and resilient approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
