SEND Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant SEND - Primary Morpeth - Northumberland Area ASAP Day to Day and Long term - Full Time Salary: £110 plus per day depending on experience. I'm looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked within a SEND classroom.
Ideally you will have experience supporting children with SEND including: Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate Learning Difficulties A proven track record of supporting pupils with challenging behaviours in a school or alternative provision setting Experience implementing behaviour support strategies, de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour management approaches Experience working on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions to support learning, communication and social development Strong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to adapt support to meet individual learning and behavioural needs A patient, resilient and nurturing approach, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills If you have the above experience I'd love to speak with you to discuss further.
