We're partnering with a highly respected and growing practice in a city in Suffolk to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys client interaction, cloud accounting technology, advisory work and building long-term professional relationships. As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients maintain the firms’ high level of service.
Your role will include: Preparing management accounts and bespoke client reporting * Producing year-end statutory accounts and supporting working papers * Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, including liaising with HMRC where required Processing and reviewing bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software Preparing and reviewing corporation and personal tax computations and returns * Building strong client relationships, acting as trusted adviser, key point of contact.
Identifying opportunities to provide additional support and services to clients Mentoring and supporting junior accountants within the team * These can be taught if you possess solid experience in other areas We're looking for someone who combines solid technical accounting knowledge with excellent systems skills and a proactive, client-focused approach.
You'll ideally have
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification, or be qualified by experience Experience within a UK accountancy practice environment either current or past Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and corporation tax returns – one can be taught if you demonstrate strong knowledge in other areas.
