Senior Architect - AJ100 Practice50,000 - 55,000PermanentCity of London, LondonResidentialCommercialRevitAutoCADConrad Consulting have partnered with our longstanding client to recruit a Senior Architect based in their Central London practice, playing a key role in the leadership and delivery of projects.
You'll act as a primary point of contact for clients while contributing to the creative and technical direction of the studio, managing projects from inception through to completion. This is an opportunity to join an outstanding AJ100 practice, with a particular focus on residential design and strong expertise in Higher Risk Buildings and external Cladding remediation.
A specialist, growing area of the business. The RoleYou'll lead the delivery of one or more design teams, driving quality across graphical, technical and 3D outputs through to the final built result, and taking ownership of programme, fee and resourcing.
Day to day, that means:Leading and inspiring one or more design teams of architects, assistants, technicians, technologists and engineersActing as primary client contact on assigned projects, ensuring clear, professional communicationPreparing and reviewing project programmes and delivery objectivesEnsuring projects are delivered within agreed fee parameters, identifying and reporting risksAccurately forecasting sales, costs, invoicing and work in progress for assigned projectsProactively developing high-quality spatial, architectural and operational designs in line with client briefsMentoring junior staff and contributing to the creative direction of the studioNurturing client relationships and contributing to fee proposals and bidsPresenting work to clients in an inspiring, engaging and professional mannerRepresenting the practice at conferences, industry events and public meetingsWhat You'll BringUK qualified architect with 10+ years post-qualification experienceExperience on projects and frameworks with construction values between 5M and 50MConfident, organised and proactive, with excellent communication and presentation skillsHighly competent in technical detailing and production of technical informationExtensive experience delivering projects on site, including contract administrationExperience managing external multidisciplinary consultantsTrack record producing exceptional concept design, visualisation and technical outputExperience managing a large team delivering more than one project simultaneouslyVery proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeAbout YouConfident, organised and proactive, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
