Job DescriptionSummary: Ares Management is looking to hire a Senior Associate for the Global Client Solutions ("GCS") team in London. Investor Services continues to expand its team to support the firm's strategic objectives related to fundraising and client service.
Investor Services acts as a centralized point of contact for external clients, internal teams and service providers on data rooms, inquiry management, investor onboarding and data, across all business lines at Ares. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team that is defining new processes, building technologies and launching enterprise-wide functions.
The individual will be responsible for managing data room contacts and the dissemination of documents, client inquiries, investor onboarding efforts, capturing and maintaining investor data and projects, and coordinating with external clients and internal teams.
As an expanding team, the role will require a dynamic, adaptive, and proactive professional who can help identify and deliver operational and technology improvements for existing and new processes and applications. Primary Functions and Essential
Responsibilities
Proactively build a strong network across the firm and with external vendors to facilitate strong collaboration, to stay informed and promote best practices across business operations groupsLiaise closely with Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, and Relationship Management teams, globally, to streamline and centralize processes across distinct groups including Legal, Financial Crime Prevention, Tax, Compliance and TechnologyFunction as an Investor Services lead for business lines - existing and new, delivering communications and plans, in writing and / or verballySupport investor reporting data rooms - including set up, contact maintenance and document disseminationAssist to respond to and resolve client/investor-related inquiries and/or requests, including complex inquiries and requestsLead and manage investor onboarding processes, which includes the review of onboarding documents such as Subscription Agreements, AML/KYC, regulatory related and tax documentsEnsure investor data is captured accurately during the onboarding process and maintained during an investor lifecycleReconcile data to Fund Administrators' records and follow procedures to resolve any breaksCoordinate the development and implementation of robust and scalable workflows and processes, documenting procedures and provide training, utilizing technology to drive and deliver the changeManage and support Investor Services team members, including coverage if requiredGeneral

Eagerness to learn and grow within the alternative investment industryEducation: University graduate with outstanding academic recordExperience Required: 6-8 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, self-driven role, preferably within investment/wealth management, business management/strategy, consulting, and/or financial services Experience with Salesforce and/or Intralinks is a plusExperience working with alternative asset classes is a plusSpoken or written multilingual proficiency is a plusVisio is a plusReporting RelationshipsPrincipal, Investor ServicesThere is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
