Are you an experienced construction lawyer looking to take ownership of high-value, high-impact projects within a major UK PLC? We're working with a leading FTSE-listed business seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer to join its established in-house legal team.
This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in supporting an ambitious UK-wide build programme and work closely with senior commercial and technical stakeholders. The Role This is a purely non-contentious construction role, giving you the opportunity to provide strategic legal support across the full lifecycle of major construction projects.
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of construction documentation, including bespoke amendments, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and related agreements. Work closely with commercial and technical teams to support the successful delivery of major build projects.
Take ownership of improving contract management processes and driving greater efficiency across legal and operational functions. Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external panel law firms. Provide training and practical guidance to the wider business on construction law, contracts and risk.
About You You'll be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with strong post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law. You may have trained and qualified in private practice, worked in-house, or built your career across both environments.
Strong knowledge and experience of construction contracts. The confidence to operate autonomously and take ownership of matters. A pragmatic, commercially focused approach to legal advice. The ability to build effective relationships with commercial and technical stakeholders.
