In this role you lead a busy conveyancing function within a respected legal practice, ensuring quality, compliance and excellent client care across residential and commercial matters. You will set direction for a team, maintain high performance and drive efficient case progression. You will uphold regulatory standards, report on performance to senior stakeholders, and build referrer relationships to raise the team’s profile. Responsibilities

• Set direction and day-to-day oversight for the conveyancing team
• Uphold outstanding client service and ensure files progress transparently
• Drive quality assurance across transactions and embed best practice
• Own regulatory compliance, accreditation, and lender-panel processes
• Produce clear performance reporting for senior stakeholders and refine processes
• Develop relationships with referrers and stakeholders; work with marketing to raise visibility

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years in residential and commercial conveyancing
• Proven track record of 3 years supervising and motivating conveyancing teams
• Strong understanding of property law, procedures and end-to-end file management
• Confident with compliance frameworks and lender-panel processes
• Excellent organization and time management; ability to prioritise deadlines
