Senior Costing Analyst

Overview

In this role you will provide costing insight to support product development and pricing decisions. You will coordinate the costing process across Finance, NPD, Operations and Commercial, ensuring data integrity and informed scenarios. You will perform scenario analysis in development and post-launch contexts to guide commercial choices. This position offers cross-functional impact within a fast-moving food business and opportunities to shape cost strategies at scale.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the product development costing process for timely information
• Deliver challenge and insight to the costing process
• Create scenario analyses for uncertain development situations
• Ensure data alignment across sources to maintain accurate costing matrices
• Act as a liaison between Finance, NPD, Operations and Commercial
• Provide costing analysis for post-launch reviews and promotions evaluation
• Support Commercial, Product Development and Marketing with ad hoc analyses

Key requirements

• Part qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers
• Strong system and spreadsheet abilities; ability to build costing models with multiple variables
