Senior Customer Engineering Manager, Platforms Practice, Google Cloud

Overview

As a Cloud Solutions Leader, you will guide customers through Google Cloud adoption and expansion across areas, driving workload migrations and platform growth. You will lead a team of subject-matter experts, partnering with customers and partners to remove blockers and deliver trusted technical and solution advice. This role blends technical leadership with practical delivery, aligning cloud strategies with business outcomes. You will shape adoption at scale and contribute to Google Cloud’s mission to accelerate digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings to review projects and sales opportunities, combining technical leadership with operational execution
• Provide expert guidance on cloud architectures, migrations, and solution delivery across Google Cloud domains
• Identify expansion opportunities and secure successful technical solutions through customer engagement
• Manage a team of subject-matter experts assisting customers with trusted technical and solution advice
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and potential clients to advance workload migration and remove technical blockers
• Foster a culture of technical ownership and oversight across architecture, delivery, and consumption
• Align cloud initiatives with sales processes and cross-functional teams to accelerate outcomes

Key requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
• Experience delivering technical presentations
