Senior Electrical Design Engineer - ATEX experience

Job Description Contract Electrical Design Engineer Location: Near Taunton/Weston-super-Mare Contract: Initial 3 months IR35: Inside IR35 Hybrid: Alternating between 3 days and 2 days per week onsite Rate: £40-50 per hour.
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support a busy engineering team delivering new and existing product designs. You must really have - ATEX or CompEx experience would be highly desirable - AND can start in 1-2 weeks (latest) You'll be working across electrical schematics, design modifications, technical documentation, testing, fault-finding and product compliance, taking projects from initial requirements through to manufacture.
Ideally, you'll have: Strong electrical design and schematic experience Electrical CAD experience - SEE Electrical, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or similar Experience with controls, sensors, motors, power supplies and PCB assemblies Product development and manufacturing experience Knowledge of electrical compliance and technical files ATEX or CompEx experience would be highly desirable You'll need to be comfortable getting hands-on, working across several projects and taking ownership from day one.
