With a strong pipeline of work spanning commercial offices, residential developments, education facilities, healthcare projects and mixed-use schemes, the business is looking for an ambitious engineer who enjoys technical design, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff.

Your new role As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality building services designs while helping to shape the future growth of the business. Responsibilities include:-Leading electrical building services design projects from concept through to completion.-Producing detailed calculations, specifications and technical reports.-Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and wider project teams.-Managing client relationships and attending design meetings.-Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.-Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.-Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities for repeat work.

What you'll need to succeed We're keen to hear from candidates with:-A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.-Proven experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment.-Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design.-Experience using software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux and AutoCAD/Revit.-Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and British Standards.-Strong communication and client-facing skills.-Chartered status or progress towards chartership would be advantageous.
