60000 - 70000 per annumGlasgow, Scotland Permanent Senior Electrical EngineerOur client, a leader in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This permanent role focuses on electrical engineering within the distribution, transmission, renewables, and T&D industries.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical DesignPerform and manage the development of electrical EPC and ICP system designs from preliminary to detailed statusConduct steady state, dynamic and grid code compliance studiesSelect appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materialsEnsure compliance with engineering design packagesAlign electrical and civil design interfacesResolve complex technical design issues and act as a primary electrical design authorityLeadershipManage and support in-house electrical design resources and external contractorsProvide mentorship and technical guidanceReview and approve electrical design outputsSupport training and development of team membersCommercial, Tendering & Procurement SupportProvide technical input during tendering to develop preliminary electrical designsSupport the development of tender pricingDefine key equipment specifications with the Procurement DepartmentPrepare scopes of work for subcontractors/vendors and support tender evaluationJob

Requirements
