Senior Engineer Bridgwater, Somerset Outside IR35 Contract Long-Term Opportunity | Until August 2027 James Lambeth Recruitment are working with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor to recruit a Senior Engineer for a major infrastructure development in Bridgwater, Somerset .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project and take responsibility for managing a team of three Engineers while overseeing substantial external works packages. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a team of Engineers and coordinate the delivery of multiple work fronts across the project.

Typical works include: Groundworks Roads and infrastructure Kerbing and drainage Car parks and hard standings Hard landscaping Soft landscaping External works packages Responsibilities Managing and mentoring a team of three Engineers Coordinating setting out and engineering activities Reviewing drawings and technical information Ensuring quality assurance standards are maintained Managing subcontractors and maintaining accurate records Producing and reviewing engineering documentation Liaising with site management and client representatives Driving programme, quality and health & safety performance Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Engineer within civil engineering or groundworks Strong background delivering roads, infrastructure and external works Experience managing and developing engineering teams Excellent QA and technical knowledge CSCS Card essential Strong communication and organisational skills What's on Offer Outside IR35 contract Work secured through August 2027 Competitive day rate Major infrastructure development Immediate start available For a confidential discussion or to apply, contact Tim at James Lambeth Recruitment or submit your CV for immediate consideration.
