Senior Estimator - Infrastructure

Overview In this Senior Estimator role, you will produce accurate cost estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects, overseeing the estimating process and contributing to best-practice. You will be embedded with client teams or work on multiple client projects through the Estimating Hub, with opportunities to work remotely from the UK.
You will support major programmes and help drive data-driven estimating and cost management across UK-based clients. This is a chance to shape project decisions and add value through robust, principled estimating. Pay / Benefits equal opportunity employer flexible working environment healthy, productive culture work-life balance remote work option when workload allows opportunity to work across multiple infrastructure sectors Responsibilities Produce accurate estimates and cost plans for projects in a timely manner Control and manage the estimating process at project level Generate estimates without supervision Promote estimating best practices within Turner & Townsend Support achievement of departmental objectives Stay up-to-date with technical developments to provide best-practice advice Key requirements Qualified Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience Experience in large project environments with estimating/QS services Experience with estimating software packages Chartered status or working towards it; membership of professional body (desirable: RICS/CIOB/A Cost E) Estimating software packages Cost estimation and cost planning Knowledge of infrastructure sector estimating practices
