A leading international professional services organisation is looking to appoint a senior lawyer to join its risk and business acceptance function. This is a strategic advisory role for a lawyer with deep expertise in financial crime, anti-money laundering, sanctions and client due diligence, who enjoys operating at the intersection of legal risk, regulation and commercial decision-making.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will advise on complex and high-profile matters, helping the organisation navigate financial crime and reputational risk issues while enabling business growth.

This position would suit an individual currently working within a law firm, professional services business, financial institution or regulatory environment who is looking for broader exposure and a genuine seat at the table on critical risk decisions.

The role You'll act as a trusted adviser on a wide range of risk and compliance issues, including: Financial crime and AML advisory work Sanctions compliance and regulatory risk Client due diligence and onboarding matters Reputational risk assessments Complex business acceptance decisions Stakeholder engagement with senior business leaders and partners You'll be joining a highly visible team with responsibility for supporting major business decisions in a fast-paced international environment.

About you We're keen to speak with qualified lawyers who bring: Strong AML, financial crime and sanctions expertise Experience advising on complex risk matters in a commercial environment The ability to balance regulatory requirements with practical business solutions Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making Experience of conflicts, business acceptance or legal risk management is beneficial but not essential.
