Senior Front End Engineer

Senior Software Engineer – Frontend Lead We're Checkout.com – a global fintech company with offices in 19 locations. As a Senior Software Engineer in a multifunctional team, you will collaborate with Product, Design, and backend teams to lead the UI implementation of our products and services, ensuring merchants enjoy an optimal experience across all frontend touchpoints.

You will guide project priorities, manage deadlines, and ensure high‐quality deliverables, while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. Responsibilities Lead UI implementation of Checkout.com products and services.

Collaborate with Product, Design, and backend teams to define and deliver robust features. Set project priorities, manage deadlines, and oversee high‐quality deliverables. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Qualifications Comprehensive skills in React and TypeScript, capable of architecting complex applications and driving best practices. Extensive experience in software development, design, and architecture with a strong focus on security.

Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend teams. Experience with continuous integration and deployment workflows. Cloud‐based application development experience. Strong customer focus and capacity to build accessible applications with good UX.

Experience leading tech initiatives, guiding your team, and delivering results. Experience building reliable, accessible, and well‐tested systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Some experience with C#. Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and performance issues in web applications and how to debug them. Experience with asynchronous, event‐driven architecture. Database experience with NoSQL, ElasticSearch or similar tools.
