About the Role We're looking for a Senior Game Economist to lead the design and codification of economic models that balance player experience with P&L across our gamification systems. This role sits at the intersection of economic design, player psychology, and commercial performance.

You'll ensure the mechanics that drive engagement and monetisation are flexible and easily configurable within our LiveOps platform, allowing non-economist stakeholders to make changes without compromising the underlying player experience or economic integrity.

You'll own the economic models behind loyalty programmes, reward systems, virtual currencies, progression mechanics, and other gamification layers. You'll also be the person who can clearly explain how and why these systems work to product managers, market teams, and leadership.

Our Values We are honest - we value honesty in all aspects Bring the Olives - we offer premium customer experience Think Big - we believe in always striving for more Key Responsibilities Define what "good" looks like for the economic systems behind our gamification mechanics, including loyalty tiers, virtual currencies, rewards, and progression systems.

Balance player experience with commercial impact, ensuring mechanics drive engagement without eroding margin or creating unsustainable liabilities. Build and maintain economic models and simulations to stress-test mechanics before launch, including currency sources and sinks, reward distribution curves, and long-term cost projections.

Translate complex economic mechanics into clear frameworks and guardrails that non-economists — including market teams, product managers, and marketing — can apply confidently. Build reusable tools, templates, and configuration frameworks that allow local teams to adjust parameters within safe, pre-modelled boundaries without needing to re-derive the underlying economics.

Create documentation and training materials that explain the "why" behind each mechanic, not just the "how," enabling teams to make sound decisions without relying on you for every change.

Requirements

Experience as a game economist, economic/systems designer, or similar quantitative role, ideally within casino, iGaming, sports betting, or another real-money or virtual-economy environment Strong quantitative modeling skills (spreadsheet modeling at minimum; scripting/statistical tools such as Python, R, or SQL a strong plus) Demonstrated ability to balance commercial/P&L objectives against player experience — not purely a finance role, not purely a design role A track record of simplifying complex systems into tools or frameworks usable by non-specialists Excellent communication skills — you'll need to make economic reasoning legible to non-economists regularly
