Senior iOS Engineer – Send Experience

Overview

In this role you will craft iOS experiences that make international money transfers feel local and effortless. You will partner with product and design to ship end-to-end features used by millions weekly, shaping interactions, transitions, and micro-interactions that delight users. You’ll push the boundaries of the iOS app, collaborating with a large mobile engineering team to improve UX and code quality. This is a hands-on, mission-driven opportunity to help Wise simplify cross-border payments at scale.

Pay / Benefits

• Starting salary: 87,500 - 115k + RSUs

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end send experiences that feel native across markets
• Develop recipient discovery features (search, QR scanning, etc.)
• Advance iOS app capabilities with polished transitions and micro-interactions
• Own features from technical design through to real-user usage
• Collaborate with 60+ mobile engineers to raise UX and code quality across the app

• Built app experiences that people love
• Strong in Swift
• Eye for craft: transitions and layout breathing room
• Focus on customer problems and propose solutions rather than just tickets
• Familiar with MVVM or VIPER (we use both)
• Write testable code and consider post-merge behavior
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend boundaries
• Clear communication of technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders; strong opinions with openness
