Senior Java / Python Engineer London | Up to £775/day (Inside IR35) or £120,000 Base Salary 5 Days Onsite for the First 6 Months | 4 Days Thereafter This investments client is investing heavily in a strategic platform build-out driven by T+1 settlement requirements and continued business growth.
We're looking for engineers who enjoy building systems rather than maintaining them. This is an opportunity to join a growing team responsible for developing core Trade Lifecycle, Settlement, Finance Systems and Regulatory Reporting platforms supporting multiple asset classes.
The Opportunity You'll be involved in designing and building a next-generation platform covering: Trade Lifecycle Management Settlement Processing Finance Systems Regulatory Reporting Market & Reference Data Integration Workflow Automation Real-Time Processing Architecture The business is moving away from manual and batch-driven processes towards a modern, event-driven platform, giving engineers the opportunity to have genuine influence over architecture and design decisions.
Technology Stack Java Python Spring Boot Kafka Linux PostgreSQL AWS Microservices REST APIs What We're Looking For We are interested in engineers with experience in some combination of: Capital Markets Technology Regulatory Reporting Finance Systems Trade Lifecycle Processing Market Data Platforms Post-Trade & Settlement Systems Data Integration & Transformation Event-Driven Architectures Experience with asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Securities Lending or Structured Products would be beneficial but not essential.
