Job Description Senior Legal Cashier Heywood | Full Time | PermanentSalary: Up to £35,000 DOE An established and busy law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to join its finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal accounts professional to take ownership of a varied cashiering role within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The Role As Senior Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the firm's financial operations while maintaining compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities Processing client and office account transactions Processing bills and client payments Performing daily bank reconciliations Processing CHAPS, BACS and cheque payments Managing credit card transactions Monitoring and managing client account balances Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments Completing month-end procedures and VAT returns Liaising with external accountants Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc cashiering and accounts duties as required About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules Experience managing high-volume financial transactions Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time management skills The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively Good communication skills and a professional approach What's on Offer Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience Full-time permanent position Stable and supportive working environment Opportunity to join a well-established and growing legal practice Varied and autonomous role within a busy finance team For a confidential discussion and further information, please apply today.
