Job Overview Location: Birmingham-based HQ with remote working available and occasional office attendance. Position type: Full‑time or part‑time (3–4 days per week). Contract: 12 months covering maternity leave for a senior construction lawyer.
Client: An innovative, cutting‑edge business in the building and construction sector, working across residential, commercial, infrastructure, education and healthcare projects both in the UK and internationally. Roles and Responsibilities Lead on non‑contentious construction contracts.
Support broader areas such as commercial agreements, training, insurance and compliance. Strategically manage the business’s risk and ongoing contentious matters when required. Qualifications At least five years post‑qualification experience (5 PQE) in construction law.
Strong experience in leading construction contracts; knowledge of broader commercial areas is a bonus. Willingness to up‑skill in broader commercial practice.
