Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Overview In this role you will help develop and implement manufacturing processes and layouts to support assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling. You will drive adoption of new technologies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality, using digital work instructions and data-driven methods.

You will analyze factory data to support continuous improvement and influence product design for manufacturability. You will work across Engineering, Industrial, and Production teams to deliver cost reductions and yield improvements, contributing to the program milestones and life cycle support.

Responsibilities Develop manufacturing processes, sequences, and layouts across technologies with lean principles Provide Basis of Estimates for engineering activities and shop floor operations Identify tooling and fixturing requirements Create technical requirements specifications and detailed process instructions Prepare Manufacturing BOMs and routings to aid manufacturability Participate in MDWT (Mission Directed Work Team) meetings Contribute to Technology Roadmap improvements and Capital plan specifications Support full rate production and liaise with related functions to align with business requirements Assist with business process reviews and update relevant documentation Key requirements Detailed Assembly Processing knowledge (Electro Mechanical, Bonding) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and quality improvement tools Experience with CAD software for 2D drawings Solid understanding of MRP systems and BOMs/routings in SAP (or similar ERP) Proven ability to drive cultural and process change Collaborative mindset and passion for continuous improvement Composite processing knowledge would be beneficial collaborative mindset problem solving continuous improvement orientation CAD for 2D drawings Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma
