The organisation provides installation, coordination and engineering expertise to help deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on schedule. We are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current project in Watford.

What you’ll do:Design, analyse, and develop Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) systems, including chilled water distribution, piping layouts, control strategies, and rack integration; produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation from concept through to deploymentLead thermal modelling and performance analysis for high-density racks; validate RDHx capacity against IT loads and environmental conditionsResearch emerging liquid cooling technologies (e.g., direct-to-chip, immersion, hybrid systems) and recommend improvements or enhancements to RDHx solutionsDevelop and present multiple cooling design strategies (rack-level and row-level); collaborate with stakeholders to define optimal deployment approachesWhat you’ll need:Extensive mechanical engineering design experience, with a strong focus on data centre cooling or HVAC systemsProven experience designing or implementing liquid cooling solutions, preferably RDHx or other rack-level cooling technologies is preferredStrong experience with chilled water systems, heat exchangers, and fluid distribution systemsExperience with 3D CAD and drafting tools (e.g., SolidWorks or equivalent) Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data CentreBe part of a project driving innovation in data centre operations.
