Senior Mobile Engineer — iOS & Android

AceSpeak is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to build and improve our native iOS and Android app experience. You will work on recording, playback, scoring and progress-tracking features that help users practise speaking confidently.

Responsibilities Develop native app features for iOS and Android Improve recording, playback and clip-review flows Ship app updates with strong stability and performance Collaborate with product, design and backend teams Support App Store and Google Play release processes What we're looking for 5+ years building mobile apps, preferably on both iOS and Android Strong Swift/SwiftUI or Objective-C skills, plus Kotlin/Java Experience with native audio/video capture and playback A user-focused approach and high attention to detail Good written English and strong collaboration skills Nice to have App Store / Google Play release experience Subscription and in-app purchase experience Mobile accessibility and localisation knowledge AceSpeak candidate exercise All applicants are required to complete a short AceSpeak practice exercise and achieve a total AceSpeak score above 3,000 before submitting an application.

Employment: Full time. Location: Remote / hybrid within the UK; London preferred. Salary: £60,000–£80,000 / year.
