Senior Physiotherapist Salary: £42,000-£50,000 per annum (pro rata) + bonus scheme (£49,000 - £55,000) Hours: 37.5 hours per week including 1 Saturday per 4-6 weeks. The Role This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse and complex MSK caseload, working across adult and adolescent populations. You will oversee rehabilitation journeys from initial assessment through to full recovery, supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) and a modern clinical environment.
This position is ideal for a physiotherapist who enjoys autonomy, clinical challenge, and contributing to service development. What you'll do Provide specialist clinical advice to CES prescribers on: Appropriate equipment provision Clinical reasoning, risk management and safeguarding Catalogue use and service pathways Review and authorise specialist equipment orders , maximising use of recycled special equipment (RSPs) to ensure value for money.
Support and develop clinical governance , prescription criteria, policies and procedures in line with national guidance. Contribute to the development and review of the TCES equipment catalogue , including identifying Close Technical Equivalents (CTEs) .
Deliver training, familiarisation and equipment demonstration sessions for prescribers. Undertake audits, service improvement projects and data analysis to reduce risk, improve efficiency and generate savings. Work collaboratively with CES managers, commissioners, health and social care professionals and suppliers to improve future equipment provision.
