Morson Edge is recruiting a Senior Photonics Engineer for a Bristol-area onsite, permanent role delivering a high‑impact counter-UAS capability for MOD and allied customers. You will join a UK sovereign defence engineering programme, embedded with a leading photonics research group along the M4 corridor and South West England, working long‑term with the partner lab.

You will bring 5–15 years post‑graduation hands‑on photonics and laser heritage, with experience in free‑space optical systems,
