Overview

Senior Principal Process Engineer at Stantec leads technical direction for Clean Water programmes, shaping process strategies and design decisions. Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on Clean Water projects across the project lifecycle (feasibility to implementation)
• Develop process solutions and perform design calculations to meet project requirements
• Prepare technical documentation and review deliverables for quality and compliance
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to resolve technical issues
• Engage with clients, contractors and project managers to build relationships and manage expectations
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical teams across the growing capability

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution
• Significant experience in Clean Water process engineering within the UK water sector
• Extensive technical experience across water treatment processes, design, optimisation or strategic infrastructure
• Proven experience providing technical leadership and assurance on complex multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of UK water industry standards, regulations and best practice
• Proven ability to provide authoritative technical advice and influence decisions
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing engineers and technical teams
