You'll play a critical role in product lifecycle management, configuration control, engineering change management, and manufacturing process improvement, helping to shape the future of innovative technology products. What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Production Engineer,

you will

Act as the primary technical liaison between Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teamsLead the creation, validation, and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and part numbering systemsOwn and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring effective implementation across the businessDrive configuration management activities, ensuring full product traceability and complianceTake responsibility for manufacturing data packs and engineering documentationCoordinate and implement mechanical and electrical/electronic product updatesMonitor component obsolescence and identify suitable replacement solutions to minimise supply chain riskDevelop and continuously improve assembly instructions and manufacturing processesLead investigations into production issues and implement corrective actionsSupport Sales and Commercial teams with product configurations and technical dataMentor junior engineers, technicians, and production personnelChampion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performanceWhat We're Looking ForWe're keen to speak with professionals who have: Proven experience in a Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, NPI Engineering, or similar roleStrong knowledge of BOM management, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and configuration controlExperience supporting manufacturing operations within a complex engineering environmentA track record of driving continuous improvement and solving production challengesExperience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of product lifecycle management, change control, and obsolescence managementStrong understanding of manufacturing documentation and engineering data systemsExperience using ERP/MRP systemsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsThe ability to influence stakeholders and drive engineering best practiceDesirable ExperienceMechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering backgroundExperience implementing product design updates into production environmentsExposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologiesExperience mentoring engineers or techniciansRF knowledge would be highly advantageousQualificationsHNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related disciplineLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications are desirableApply NowIf you're a driven Production or Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, improving manufacturing performance, and leading product lifecycle activities, we'd love to hear from you.
