Senior Project Manager Construction ConsultancyLocation: Edinburgh Salary: Competitive + BenefitsJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAn established construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing Project Management team.

This is a senior, client-facing position offering responsibility for the delivery of construction projects and programmes from inception through to completion. You'll take ownership of your own projects, work closely with key clients and stakeholders, and support the continued development of junior members of the team.

The RoleAs Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of construction projects through the full project lifecycleManaging multiple and increasingly complex projects and programmesActing as a key point of contact for clients, consultants and contractorsDeveloping and managing project programmesManaging project risk, change, opportunities and issuesLeading project and stakeholder meetingsProviding clear and accurate project reportingAdvising clients on procurement and contractual mattersPreparing and evaluating tenders and supporting contractor/consultant selectionSupporting contract administration across JCT and NEC contractsLeading and supporting risk and value management activitiesManaging competing priorities while maintaining high standards of deliverySupporting bids, tenders and wider business developmentMentoring and developing junior members of the Project Management teamWorking alongside Associates and Directors on strategic and complex commissionsWhat We're Looking ForYou'll ideally have:5+ years' Project Management experience within the construction industryStrong experience within a consultancy or client-side Project Management environmentA track record of delivering projects through the full lifecycleStrong knowledge of construction and the wider project delivery processExperience working with JCT and/or NEC contractsGood knowledge of procurement, programming, change control, risk and value managementExperience managing multiple or complex projectsStrong client-facing and stakeholder management skillsThe confidence to lead meetings, advise clients and challenge where requiredExperience supporting, mentoring or managing junior colleaguesA relevant degree would be preferred, with professional qualifications such as MAPM, MRICS, PRINCE2 or equivalent beneficial.
