Senior Project Manager

Overview

As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager you will lead landmark construction projects for a respected Tier 1 contractor in the North West. You’ll own delivery from pre-construction through handover, managing teams, programmes, safety, and commercial performance to achieve high-quality outcomes. You’ll work closely with clients and stakeholders, shaping projects with a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for quality delivery. Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Manage project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
• Develop and monitor construction programmes
• Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, pre-construction and HSEQ teams
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Present progress updates to senior management and clients
• Support and develop site-based delivery teams

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering new-build construction projects
• Previous Project Manager or Senior Project Manager experience with a main contractor
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Stable employment history with progression
• Flexibility to travel across the North West
