Senior Quality Engineer

p With exciting growth plans and significant investment, a leading manufacturer of precision engineered components has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Engineer to join the team. You will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and customers to identify quality issues, implement robust corrective actions and drive continuous improvement across the business. /p p br /p p The Role /p p br /p p Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements. /p p Investigate customer and internal quality issues using structured problem-solving techniques. /p p Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. /p p Ensure all quality activities, risk assessments and deliverables are completed in accordance with APQP requirements and a zero‑defect launch. /p p Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues. /p p Work closely with engineering production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards. /p p Monitor change in customer specifications ensuring process owners implement change when required. /p p Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices. /p p Support quality activities for NPI projects, supporting concept‑to‑release deliverables and manufacturing readiness. /p p br /p p The Person /p p br /p p Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within a highly regulated sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Energy, etc) /p p Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. /p p Strong communication and organisational skills. /p p A proactive approach with a genuine passion for continuous improvement. /p p Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions. /p p Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice. /p p Share this job: /p
