This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who is passionate about delivering successful construction outcomes and is looking to play a key role in shaping projects from pre-construction through to final account.

The RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial function across one or more projects or key work packages. You will lead commercial strategy, manage project performance, and ensure financial control while working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and the wider supply chain.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in line with best practice. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management of projects, ensuring all contractual and financial obligations are metManage and mentor junior members of the commercial teamOversee procurement strategies, subcontractor packages, and supply chain engagementPrepare and submit accurate monthly cost reports and forecastsManage valuations, variations, and contractual notices in line with project requirementsNegotiate and agree interim valuations and final accounts with both clients and subcontractorsMaintain strong cashflow performance across projectsSupport bid and tender processes, contributing to commercial and delivery strategiesWhat you needProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction sectorStrong understanding of both pre- and post-contract commercial managementExperience working on complex construction projects across multiple sectors is highly desirable.
