Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor you will drive commercial management across multiple residential developments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work from feasibility through to final account, shaping cost plans, procurement, and contract delivery to support reliable project delivery in London. You’ll partner with senior leadership to manage risk, value engineering, and delivery strategy, making an impact on a growing private developer portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets, and financial reporting across schemes
• Lead subcontractor procurement, including tendering, negotiation, and package management
• Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Provide commercial input during pre-construction and design stages
• Monitor contractor performance and manage commercial risk
• Contribute to value engineering and delivery strategy

Key requirements

• 3–8 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
• A strong background in residential construction (London experience advantageous)
• Experience working with either a main contractor or developer
• Solid cost planning, procurement, and commercial management skills
• The ability to manage projects through multiple stages of delivery
