Job Description Are you an experienced Team Leader who enjoys supporting teams, improving services and helping people achieve positive outcomes? \ N We’re currently looking for a Team Leader to join a well-established residential support service in Abingdon. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, influence how the service operates and play an important part in supporting colleagues through a period of change. \ N Please note: this is a 6 month FTC (subject to further extension or the role becoming permanent). \ N The salary scaleis £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience). \ N The role \ N You’ll work as part of the management team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service and providing leadership to a team of Recovery Workers. \ N You’ll have direct line management responsibility for around 4–5 members of the team , working alongside another Team Leader and reporting into the Service Manager. \ N The service is currentlyreviewing and developing its ways of working, so this is a particularly interesting time to join. A key part of your role will be helping staff understand and adapt to changes, providing clear leadership and making sure the team remains supported and focused throughout the process. \ N You’ll be encouraged to bring your own experience and ideas, while working closely with the wider management team to maintain a high-quality service. \ N What you’ll be responsible for \ N

Managing, supporting and developing a team of Recovery Workers. \ N Providing effective day-to-day leadership and operational oversight. \ N Holding regular supervision and supporting staff with their professional development. \ N Coaching and motivatingteam members to achieve their objectives. \ N Monitoring team performance, targets and quality standards. \ N Supporting the implementation of new processes and ways of working. \ N Helping manage change positively and keeping the team engaged throughout periods of development. \ N Working with internal teams and external professionals to ensure effective support is provided. \ N Supporting with safeguarding, risk management, incidents and complaints where required. \ N Ensuring records, reports and other documentation are accurate and completed appropriately. \ N Contributing to serviceimprovement and identifying opportunities to strengthen how the service operates. \ N Supporting recruitment,induction and staff training. \ N Deputising for the Service Manager when required. \ N

What we’re looking for \ N We’re looking for someonewith previous management or supervisory experience , ideally within mental health, social care, supported housing, health and social care or a similar setting. \ N You don't necessarily need to have worked in exactly the same type of service. What's important is that you can demonstrate that you know how to lead people, manage performance and create a positive team environment. \ N You'll ideally bring: \ N

Experience managing or supervising staff. \ N The ability to motivate, coach and develop a team. \ N Experience working towards targets, KPIs or service objectives. \ N Good organisational andreporting skills. \ N Strong communication and relationship-building skills. \ N A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach. \ N Confidence dealing withchallenging situations and making decisions. \ N The ability to supportpeople through change and introduce new ways of working. \ N An understanding of theneeds of people who may require additional support. \ N
