Lead Installation & Commissioning Engineer – Access Control & Security Systems Overview: We're seeking a skilled and driven Lead Installation & Commissioning Engineer to take charge of deploying, maintaining, and optimising advanced site security and access control systems.
This role combines hands‐on technical delivery with leadership, mentoring, and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead installation and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems to high technical standards. Act as the technical escalation point for complex system issues and provide expert‐level support. Mentor and develop junior engineers and apprentices.
Ensure compliance with all H&S and quality assurance procedures. Collaborate with project managers to deliver seamless installations and handovers. Deliver user and super‐user training on‐site or remotely. Support continuous improvement, stock management, and QA checks.
About You
Proven experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining access control and CCTV systems. Strong background in field‐based engineering with customer‐facing experience. Confident leading teams and mentoring others. Able to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Competent with Microsoft systems and general IT tools.
