Senior Software Engineer, C++

Overview In this role you drive the next-generation Core market data platform for Flow Traders, enabling high-speed data ingestion, normalization, and distribution across trading and research teams. You will collaborate with quants and technical traders to push performance, robustness, and observability to the cutting edge.

Expect to own end-to-end components from wire to strategy, and to roll out solutions globally across multiple groups. You'll apply advanced C++ and low-latency techniques to extract maximum throughput. Responsibilities Lead development and global rollout of the Core market data platform used across multiple focus areas Design and implement high-performance components for data ingestion, normalization, and distribution and their use in execution and strategy infrastructure Build tools/frameworks enabling quants and traders to develop and deploy data-driven strategies Own full lifecycle of components: deployment, monitoring, profiling, and optimization in production Collaborate with focus group engineers, quants, and traders to refine requirements and iterate on design Key requirements 7+ years of professional C++ development experience Experience building low-latency market data ingestion, order execution, and algorithmic trading systems (preferred in proprietary trading) Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming Demonstrated ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable C++ code Interest in extracting maximum performance from hardware and software (CPU caches, memory layout, networking) Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders cross-functional collaboration with quants and traders strong problem-solving and initiative C++ low-latency engineering OS internals
