Job Description Position Available: Software EngineerLocation: HertfordshireSalary: £50,000 - £75,000 DoE + BonusExperience needed: We are looking for several Software Engineers with a strong background in designing complex software systems within a safety-critical, real-time, or embedded environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams. About the roleWe are looking for technically strong and adaptable engineers who are passionate about modern software engineering practices.
You will be responsible for designing and developing Test equipment software to test complex systems and sub-components. What we need from youPrevious software engineering experience in the development of test solutionsStrong ability to write software in C / C++; scripting languages would be an advantage to our future direction.
Previous experience working in an agile development team. A strong understanding of what is required to create high quality software and the ability to support quality practicesA good understanding of automation, continuous integration and DevOps principles and practicesKnowledge of electronics measurement and debug techniques using equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analysersStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAn understanding of CI/CD and modern software engineering practicesIf you would like to know more details about the position or want to register your interest, hit apply below.
