A senior structural engineer role with real project ownership rather than the production-line version of the title. This is a Senior Structural Engineer position with a building services and engineering practice based in central London with the project diversity that location suggests.
Structural design across steel, reinforced concrete, and timber, with a portfolio that spans early-stage feasibility through to construction support. Tekla, Revit Structure, and Tedds or similar for analysis. Engineering judgement is rewarded, not engineered out of the process.
You are chartered or close to it, with strong UK consultancy experience and the project-running judgement that comes with it. You can carry a scheme from concept through to delivery, manage clients and contractors without rescue, and develop the engineers around you.
Recurring themes on this brief: commercial, residential, and mixed-use. Prior exposure to those areas is useful, not mandatory. Salary: £56,000 to £74,000 depending on experience. Working pattern: on-site, full time, based in central London.
