Senior Structural (Pipe Support) Designer

Overview

In this role you will lead structural design activities for brownfield projects, focusing on flowline support with bolted connections. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver compliant, safe, and value-adding designs using 2D/3D AutoCAD/Plant 3D and ReCAP point cloud data. The position blends office design with potential onshore/offshore surveys, and emphasizes collaboration, quality, and delivery to time. This is a hybrid, contractor opportunity that supports PD&MS’s energy transition ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Create and verify engineering designs
• Ensure designs meet project requirements
• Contribute to project planning
• Identify potential issues during projects or studies
• Develop cost-effective, fit-for-purpose and safe engineering solutions
• Address operational/maintenance considerations in design and liaise with colleagues
• Optionally undertake onshore/offshore surveys

Key requirements

• HND in relevant subject
• Experience in detail design with awareness of other disciplines
• Competence in AutoDesk design products
• Experience with 2D/3D AutoCAD/Plant 3D and ReCAP point cloud data
• Ability to deliver designs that meet project requirements
