Senior Supply Chain Manager – Defence & Aerospace Hampshire – Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite) 12-month contract BPSS required We're looking for an experienced Procurement professional to manage a major, complex subcontract within a Defence & Aerospace environment.
Key responsibilities
Manage supplier/subcontractor performance across delivery, quality, cost and contractual obligations Lead complex commercial negotiations and resolve supplier issues Manage and develop key supplier and stakeholder relationships Execute contractual documentation and binding agreements Drive cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation Monitor supplier KPIs and performance Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve supplier and contract performance Support continuous improvement and contracting strategies Experience required: Ideally 10+ years' relevant Procurement / Supply Chain / Subcontract experience Defence industry experience strongly preferred Experience working with UK MoD regulations and contractual flowdowns Strong commercial and contractual acumen Ability to draft, negotiate and interpret contractual Terms & Conditions Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills SAP / ERP knowledge MCIPS desirable This is a senior, hands-on role requiring someone comfortable taking ownership of a significant subcontract and operating across a complex stakeholder environment.
