NegotiableLondon, England Contract Our client, a leading entity in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Senior Surveyor to join their Land, Planning and External Affairs department. This is an exciting contract role with a hybrid working arrangement, offering opportunities to work across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Providing professional expert advice and technical support to the teamLeading a team of surveyors and land officers on major new build infrastructure projectsOffering expert witness support in Public Inquiries, Compulsory Purchase and Land Tribunal casesUndertaking valuations using a range of techniques and methodologiesDeveloping and delivering land rights and acquisitions from development to constructionImplementing National Grid's Land Rights Strategy and supporting policiesReporting on programme, key milestone delivery, risk, and financeCommunicating and managing internal and external stakeholder requirementsSupporting Land Project Managers in project deliveryProviding technical advice to the National Grid Land TeamCollating and verifying data/evidence for securing land rightsLiaising with stakeholders including National Grid, external suppliers, and third partiesProducing documents to an appropriate standardAttending meetings or other forums as requiredJob
Requirements
Degree/HND/HNC standard in a relevant surveying discipline and charteredExperience in undertaking complex and high-value negotiations within the gas/electricity utility sectorSignificant knowledge and experience in the specialist subject matterAbility to function as a member of an integrated team with neutrality, assurance, confidence, and objectivityExcellent communication skills, capable of dealing with people on all levels and supporting team members in conflict situationsDesirable
Qualifications
